Configuring the DV-SP506—Continued

Power Control

With this setting, you can turn RIHD power control over HDMI on or off.

On (default): RIHD power control on.

Off: RIHD power control off.

Notes:

The Power Control setting can be set only when the HDMI Control setting is set to On.

When set to On, the DV-SP506 can be turned on or off automatically along with the other RIHD-compatible components in the system.

HDMI power control only works with RIHD-compat- ible components that support it and may not work properly with some components due to their settings or compatibility.

When set to On, the DV-SP506 consumes more power.

Direct Change

With this setting, you can turn RIHD direct change over HDMI on or off.

On (default): RIHD direct change on.

Off: RIHD direct change off.

Notes:

The Direct Change setting can be set only when the HDMI Control setting is set to On.

When set to On, when playback is started on the DV-SP506, it will automatically be selected as the input source on an RIHD-compatible TV or AV receiver.

HDMI direct change only works with RIHD-compati- ble components that support it and may not work prop- erly with some components due to their settings or compatibility.

Auto power off

The Auto power off function automatically turns off the DV-SP506 after 20 minutes of inactivity.

Off (default): Auto power off function off.

On: Auto power off function on.

DivX Registration

To play DivX VOD (video on demand) content on this DV-SP506, you first need to register it with your DivX VOD content provider. You do this by generating a DivX VOD registration code, which you then submit to your provider.

Your 8-digit registration code is displayed.

Burn DivX VOD content that you download to a blank disc.

DivX® Video On Demand Your registration code is: 01234567 (http://www.divx.com/vod)

OK

Make a note of the code as you will need it when you register with a DivX VOD provider.

Important:

DivX VOD content is protected by DRM (digital rights management). This restricts playback of content to specific, registered devices.
