With the Repeat function you can play a disc, title, chap- ter, group, track, or folder (MP3/JPEG) over-and-over again.

1Press the [REPEAT] button repeatedly to select a repeat

Remote controller option.

The selected repeat option appears

 

onscreen and the REPEAT indicator

 

appears on the display.

 

The available options depend on the

 

type of disc, as follows:

DVD-Video, DVD-VR: Chapter Repeat, Title Repeat, Disc Repeat, Repeat Off.

DVD-Audio:Track Repeat, Group Repeat, Disc Repeat, Repeat Off. SACD, VCD, CD: Track Repeat, Disc Repeat, Repeat Off.

MP3, JPEG: Track Repeat, Folder Repeat, Disc Repeat, Repeat Off. The Chapter Repeat, Title Repeat, Track Repeat, and Group Repeat options can be selected only during playback.

If you’re using the Repeat function with

 

 

the Disc Navigator (MP3/JPEG), the

 

Repeat function is off when the

 

MODE: field is blank.

Notes:

Repeat playback may not work with some DVD-Video discs.

The Repeat function can be used in combination with the Random function (see page 58).

If the Memory function is on (see page 59), the select- able options are Memory Repeat, which plays the playlist repeatedly, and Repeat Off.

To use the Repeat function with a VCD that supports PBC, you must first turn off PBC (see page 84).

With the A–B Repeat function you can play a specified section over-and-over again.

Notes:

The A–B Repeat function may not work with some DVD-Video discs and VCDs that support PBC.

In some cases, the A and B points may be at slightly different points to the ones that you specify.

If you select a different camera angle during A–B repeat playback, the original camera angle will be selected when playback restarts from the A point.
