Introduction

Pop up menu

Some Blu-rayTMvideos have pop-up menu which is a navigation menu that can be called up and be operated on the TV screen without interrupting the playback. You can call up the pop-up menu by pressing POP UP MENU or TOP MENU on the remote. Contents in the pop-up menu vary depending on the disc.

Playing back AVCHDTM files

This player supports playback of AVCHDTM format files (new format for high definition video camcorders) recorded on disc. Your high definition personal archive is playable in HD quality.

x.v.ColorTM

This player supports playback of video content on discs recorded with “x.v.ColorTM” technology. To watch this video content with the “x.v.ColorTM”, a TV or other display device supporting both video image reproduction using the “x.v.ColorTM” standard and capable of manually switching its color setting is required. Refer to the User’s Guide of your display device for further information.

Wi-Fi CERTIFIEDTM

The Wi-Fi CERTIFIEDTM logo is an assurance that Wi-Fi®Alliance has tested a product in numerous configurations and with a diverse sampling of other devices to ensure compatibility with other Wi-Fi CERTIFIEDTM equipment that operates in the same frequency band.

Easy and simple connection to your HDTV via HDMI®:

Connect this player to your HDTV with one single HDMI® (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) cable. It is recommended to use a High Speed HDMI® cable for better compatibility. The high definition video output signal will be transferred to your HDTV without conversion to analog signals, so you will get excellent picture and sound quality.

Online Media Player capabilities:

Internet - accesses the Internet for searching, browsing, and bookmarking your favorite content, with simple, intuitive navigation.

ePortal page - is easy to navigate and provides graphical access to a wide variety of services, such as Apps, Internet, Videos, Photos, Music, Settings and others.

Remote Server Access - provides access to new apps immediately as they become available.

Built-in Wi-Fi®and MiracastTM - includes peer-to-peer wireless technologies to allow direct wireless connection between the player and MiracastTM certified mobile devices.

MediaShare - provides a simple graphic interface to quickly access and share videos, music, and image files across your home network and the other connected DLNA certified devices through the Videos, Photos, and Music icons on the ePortal page.

Media Apps & Services - connects you to entertainment apps and to family and friends.
