Region codes

This player has been designed to play back Blu-ray™ video with region “A” and DVD-video with region “1” or “ALL.” You cannot play back Blu-ray™ video or DVD-video that are labeled for other regions. Look for the symbols on your Blu-ray™ video or DVD-video.

If these region symbols do not appear on your Blu-ray™ video or DVD-video, you cannot play back the disc in this player. The letter or number inside the globe refers to region of the world. A Blu- ray™ video or DVD-video labeled for a specific region can only be played back in the player with the same region code.

Color system

Blu-ray™ video and DVD-video are recorded in different color systems throughout the world.The most common color system is NTSC (which is used primarily in the United States and Canada).
