Playable disc types

This unit supports the following discs.

Only BD-RE/-R, DVD-R/-RW and CD-R/-RW discs recorded with UDF or ISO9660 format can be played back.

This unit supports Ver 2.0 BD-ROM, Ver 3.0 BD-RE and Ver 2.0 BD-R.

Notes :

Unfinalized BD-RE/-R, DVD-R/-RW and CD-R/-RW discs can not be played back.

Some 8 cm BD-REs/8 cm BD-Rs cannot be played on this unit.

When a BD-Java title is played, loading may take longer than a normal title, or some functions may perform slowly.

Unplayable discs

Since this unit cannot support disc types, formats and file types not listed above, do not play such discs.

Some BD-RE/BD-R, DVD-RWs/DVD-Rs or CD-Rs/CD- RWs cannot be played due to incomplete disc finalization, recording quality or physical condition of the disc, characteristics of recording device or authoring software, etc.

See the operating instructions supplied with your recording device for more information.

Color system format

Depending on the countries, this unit conforms to either the NTSC color system for U.S.A, Canada, etc. or the PAL for Europe, Australia, China, etc.

Region code

Blu-ray Disc player and BD-ROM or DVD Video discs are assigned region codes according to the region in which they are sold. If the region codes do not match, the disc will not play.
