1. Picture menu

Some picture adjustments are available only when certain input ports are in use. Unavailable adjustments are not shown on the screen.

FUNCTION

DESCRIPTION

 

 

 

Application modes are provided so you can optimize your projector

 

image set-up to suit your program type.

 

PC Signal Input

 

1.

Presentation Mode: Is designed for presentations. The brightness

 

 

is emphasized in this mode.

 

2.

sRGB/Photo Mode: Maximizes the purity of RGB colors to

 

 

provide true-to-life images. It is suitable for photo viewing.

 

3.

Gaming Mode: Is suitable for playing video games in a bright

living room.

4.

Video Mode: Is appropriate for playing movies, video clips from

digital cameras or DVs in an extensive space.

 

YPbPr/ S-Video/ Video Signal Input

 

1.

Photo Mode: Is perfect for viewing photos. The color saturation

 

 

and brightness are well-balanced.

 

2.

Movie Mode: Is suitable for enjoying colorful movies in a home

 

 

theater.

 

3.

Cinema Mode: Is suitable for enjoying darker movies in a home

 

 

theater.

 

4.

Gaming Mode: Is suitable for playing video games in a bright

 

 

living room.

 

 

 

4 color temperature* settings are available.

 

1.

T1: With the highest color temperature, T1 makes the image

 

 

appear the most bluish white than other settings.

 

2.

T2: Makes images appear bluish white.

 

3.

T3: Maintains normal colorings for white.

T4: Makes images appear reddish white.

 

*About color temperatures:

 

There are many different shades that are considered to be “white” for

 

various purposes. One of the common methods of representing white

 

color is known as the “color temperature”. A white color with a low color

 

temperature appears to be reddish white. A white color with a high color

 

temperature appears to have more blue in it.

 

 

Keystone

Corrects any keystoning of the image. Refer to page 20 for more

information.
