On-Screen Symbols

The following symbols appear in the top left corner of the TV screen when you activate a feature.

scan Scan The first 10 seconds of each Chapter or Track will play.

repeat Repeat All The entire Disc will play repeatedly. Details are on page 27.

title Repeat Title The current Title will play repeatedly. Details are on page 27.

chapter Repeat Chapter The current Chapter will play repeatedly. Details are on page 27.

track Repeat Track The current Track will play repeatedly (appears during Video CD playback). Details are on page 27.

shuffle Shuffle The Chapters or Tracks will play

in random order. Details are on page 29.

A - Repeat A Point A for Repeat A-B play- back has been entered. Details are on

page 27.

A - B Repeat A-BA segment of the Disc will play repeatedly. Details are on page 27.

2/2 Angle Multiple angles are available. Details are on page 26.

locked Locked The current Disc is Locked and cannot play unless you enter your four-

digit code. Details are on pages 30-33.

safe Safe The current Disc is authorized for playback. Details are on pages 30-33.

resume Resume Press PLAY : while Resume appears during DVD playback. Play will

resume at the point at which you last stopped it.

“X” The feature you just attempted is not available on the current Disc or at the current time.

all disc

Repeat All Discs All the Discs (except DVDs) in the Player will play repeatedly.

Bit Rate Indicator

Use the Bit Rate Indicator to check the bit rates of Audio and Video during playback of DVDs and Super Video CDs. To access or remove the Bit Rate Indicator, press DISPLAY on the remote control.
