34 Favorite Track Selection

Favorite Track Selection (FTS) lets you play your favorite Tracks in the order you select. A Program can contain 100 Tracks from Super Audio CDs, Audio CDs, MP3 (files on CD-R or CD-RW), Video CDs, or Super Video CDs.

Setting a Program

1 Press OPEN/CLOSE c on the front of the Player. Load up to five Discs in the Player. Press OPEN/CLOSE c again to close the disc tray.

cFavorite Track Selection will be selected in the System Menu Bar.

While playback is stopped, press SYSTEM MENU. Press

3 Press 9 to select ALL DISC.

 

To store an entire Disc in the Program, press : or ; to

 

select the Disc you want, then press OK.

 

4 Or, to store only an Album (MP3) or Title (SACD, Audio

 

CD, Video CD, or Super Video CD), press 9 to select

 

ALBUM/TRACK, then press : or ; to choose an Album

 

or Track, then press OK.

 

Or, to store only a Track (MP3, SACD, or Audio CD) or

 

Index (Video CD or Super Video CD), press 9 to select

 

TRACK/INDEX. Press : or ; to choose an Index or

 

Track, then press OK.

 

If you choose Off, playback will continue from its current point. If

 

you select On, the Program will begin playing as you specified.

 

If you want to erase the Program instead, press 9 repeatedly to

 

select Clear all, then press OK.

 

5 Press SYSTEM MENU to remove the System Menu Bar.

Helpful Hints

If FTS is On, the Program may play each time you start play- ing the disc. Erase the Program as described in step 4 to play the Disc normally again.

If you have set an FTS Program, c Favorite Track Selection in the System Menu Bar will turn On or Off each time you press FTS on the remote control.

Not all Discs will allow you to set an FTS Program. This is not

a fault of the Player.
