Enjoying Your Remote Control

The SRM7500 has 2 important functions combined in 1 remote control.

On one hand you have a music controller that interacts with your media player on the PC and enables you to control the music, available on your PC, without turning the PC screen or player on.

Refer to chapter ‘Using SRM7500 as a music controller’ on page 7.

On the other hand you have a universal remote control, which replaces the original remote control of 6 AV-devices and your PC Media Center. You select the device and SRM7500 changes into that specific remote.

Refer to chapter ‘Using SRM7500 as a universal remote control’ on page 11.

Using SRM7500 as a music controller

Press on your SRM7500 to connect to your media player on your PC and to see your playlists on the SRM7500.

If you did not install a PC during the initial installation, pressing starts the wizard to set up the connection to your PC.

Refer to chapter ‘Configuring the Remote Control’ on page 5 for more information on how to set up the connection.

Note When you see the No Connection icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen blinking, the remote is not able to connect to your PC. Refer to chapter ‘Troubleshooting’ on page 24 to solve the problem.
