A program that has an associated viewing cost, and which may be purchased separately

 

from any package or subscription.This could include a movie, special program, sporting

 

program, or an adult program.

PPV

Pay per view.

purchase limit

The maximum dollar amount of the PPV purchase balance allowed by the access card

 

or purchase limit set in the menu.This limit is per-program rather than a limit on total

 

spending. Also referred to as “spending limit”.

R

 

 

 

rating limit

A limit set by the customer to prevent unauthorized viewing of programs with a rating

 

at or above the set limit. For example, if a limit of R has been set, then programs rated

 

R,TV-M, NR-Mature, or NC17 cannot be viewed without first entering a access code.

rating level

Standard rating levels applied to movies and other programs to help customers

 

determine the amount of strong language, violence, and/or sex contained in that

 

program.

A method of moving around a web page or text box when the contents are too big to

 

fit the screen or box.When you scroll, part of the page becomes visible onscreen,

 

while another part moves offscreen.To scroll, you select an arrow pointing down (to

button on the remote.
