Starting the Encoding
There are 2 ways to start the encoding. One is to start the encoding automatically and the other one
is to start it manually by setting the menu.

Press the ENTER button
Display the Initial Param Menu screen according to steps 1~5 on Page 16 “How to Change Menu Setting”.
Press the 8 / 9 buttons
Select the Start Mode item and press the ENTER but- ton.

The default setting of the Start Mode item is set to “Auto” in order to start the encoding automatically.

Select the “Auto” and press the ENTER button.
Press the ESC button
Press the ENTER button
The encoding will start after the menu setting is saved and reboot of this unit is performed.

HDTV ENCODER
The encoding can be man- ually started or stopped if the Start Mode item in the menu is set to “Manual”.
