1.2.4 Adjustable suspension on the Cougar and CX
Chariot adjustable suspension (CAS): After loosening the knob it is possible to move the bracket, which surrounds both leaf springs. The more you slide this bracket towards the wheel axis, the stiffer the suspension becomes (see diagram containing weight details on the upper spring).
Please note:
Where there are different weights on each of the two sides of the vehicle or where only one side is loaded, we recommend that the spring stiffness on each side be adjusted to the weight in question.
1.2.5 Adjustable suspension on the Corsaire XL
A. Dismantling of the transport safety lock after unpacking
This assembly step may only be carried out by a dealer assembling the trailer for the first time.
To remove the transport safety lock press down on the trailer from above so as to loosen the suspension. Extract the transport safety lock from one side using pliers.
Safety Recommendation:
Do not extract the transport safety lock with your hand – you might trap it!
