Belt-Positioning Booster

Installation

Child restraint must be in

the full upright position.

 

 

Pull out on recline handle

 

and pull child restraint all

 

the way up.

Place booster seat against the back of the vehicle seat.Tuck the top anchorage hook and splitter plate under the base. Have child sit in seat with his back and bottom fully in the seat.

Secure the vehicle

shoulder belt through the

 

notch in the shoulder belt

 

guide.The belt should

 

cross the base of the

 

child's neck and across

 

the chest (not the face or

 

neck). Pull up on the

vehicle shoulder belt to tighten.

Check periodically to ensure your child has not moved out of position and loosened the vehicle shoulder belt.

To adjust shoulder belt

 

guide, pull down on red

 

end and slide guide up

 

and down track. Make

 

sure the belt guide locks

 

into place.

Belt-Positioning Booster Use: 40-100 lbs. (18.1-45.4 kg),

Place BOTH shoulder and lap belt across child’s thighs. Lock buckle.

NOTE: Make sure the lap and shoulder belt are placed under armrest as shown.

!WARNING

Check vehicle instructions for more information about air bag/child restraint use.

Do Not Use only the lap belt when using this seat as a belt-positioning booster without the internal harness.

The shoulder belt must always be adjusted snugly across the child’s chest.
