The setup of RS-485 parameters should be done as first step of camera OSD setup, because a camera reset is required for this.

Press the RESET key with a thin tool and hold for ~3 seconds.

The camera will perform a factory reset, after this the current RS-485 address is shown on the top of the screen:

Example:

RS485 ID is adjustable in the range 01~99. Default value is 01. Move joystick UP and Down to adjust it. Press “Set” key to confirm the setting.

Now the current Baud Rate appears on the top of the screen:

Example:9600

The Baud Rate is adjustable for the values 9600, 4800, 2400 and 1200. Default value is 9600. Move joystick UP and Down to adjust it. Press “Set” key to confirm and finalize the setting.

Note: 1. For camera protocol, EZ610 recognizes Everfocus Pelco-P or Pelco-D protocols automatically (No setting is required).

2.Camera ID and baud rate setting can only be performed locally, not from Keyboard.

3.RS-485 ID and Baud rate have to match the controller settings for this camera and the connected RS-485 port.
