Date/Time Display — Setting the Time and Date

The correct date and time must be set before it can be displayed and recorded on your tapes. The clock cell must be installed as shown on the previous page before the date can be set and recorded.

Set the Time and Date

1.Make sure the camcorder is in the record-pause mode.

2.Press and hold the DATE and FOCUS LOCK buttons together until the reset time and date appear.

A flashing cursor lets you know which part of the display you are setting.

3.Repeatedly press the DATE button until the correct month appears.

4.Then press the FOCUS LOCK button to move the flashing cursor to the next part of the display.

5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have entered the correct month, day, year, hour with AM or PM, and minutes.

6.After you set the minutes, press the FOCUS LOCK button to start the clock and remove the flashing cursor from the display.

Correct the Time and Date

1.Make sure the camcorder is in the record-pause mode.

2.Press and hold the DATE and FOCUS LOCK buttons together until the reset time and date appear.

3.Correct the time and/or date using the DATE and FOCUS LOCK buttons.
