LCD Panel

The LCD panel on the side of the camcorder displays what the camcorder is doing.

1Status Indicators

The status of the camcorder appears here.

•PLAY appears here when the camcorder’s POWER switch is in VCR.

•REC appears here when the camcorder’s POWER switch is in

CAMERA.

2Tape Speed Indicator (SP or SLP) The tape speed selected with the SP•SLP switch appears here.

3Cassette Moving Indicator

This indicator shows the cassette is moving.

4Tape Remaining

•Shows the amount of tape time remaining.

5Cassette Warning

•The indicator appears when there is a cassette in the camcorder.

•The indicator flashes when the power dial is set to CAMERA or VCR and there is no cassette in the camcorder.

6Battery Level Indicator

•This indicator shows how much power is left in the rechargeable battery.

•This indicator flashes when the battery is almost empty.
