Change Indicator (=")

This indicator appears to let you know that an item in the recording menu has been changed from the original

factory setting.

Dew Warning (l-g])

The dew indicator appears when exces- sive moisture (condensation) has entered the camcorder. The camcorder will not

operate when this indicator appears. Place the camcorder in a warm, dry area until this indicator disappears.

Exposure Indicators (+03)

This indicator appears when you are

adjusting brightness manually using the + and -- buttons in the center of the AE dial.

Focus Indicators ( a ± )

These indicator appear when you are

adjusting focus manually using the FOCUS 4 and FOCUS _" buttons.

The AE dial must not be set to AUTO.

• The ( _ ) flash when the auto-focus system cannot operate properly.
