Date/Time and Title Display m Recording

The clock cell must be installed and the date and time set (as shown on the previous

pages) before the date and time can be selected and recorded. You must have created a title (as described on page 43) before your title can be selected and recorded.

Select Date, Date and Time, or Title to Record On Your Tape

1.Attach a power supply and place POWER switch in CAMERA. The power indicator will light.

2.Make sure the AE dial is not set to AUTO if you want to select any mode except AUTO DATE.

3.Repeatedly press SELECT until

_DISP.,q appears in the viewfinder.

4.Repeatedly press SETto select AUTO DATE, date, date and time, title, or no date display.

AUTO DATE: The date will be automatically recorded for approxi- mately five seconds and then AUTO DATE will be displayed whenever:

The date has been set or changed.

This display mode has just been selected.

The tape has been changed or the tape compartment opened.

Date Display: The date will be displayed and recorded.

Date and Time Display: The date and time will be displayed and recorded.

Title: The title you have created will be displayed and recorded. If no title has been created, SET CHAR appears.

No Display: No display will be displayed or recorded.
