JLIP (Joint Level Interface Protocol) Identification Number

The camcorder has a JLIP connector that may be used in the future to connect a

device, such as a home computer.

1.Place the POWER switch in CAM- ERA. The power indicator will light.

2.Make sure the AE dial is not set to AUTO.

REC TIME	OFF
SET CHARACTER

3. Press the	MENU	button. The	DATE/TIME
recording	menu	will appear in the	END :MENU KEY

viewfinder.

4. Press + or - to select a JLIP ID NO.	. Press < or I_ in the center of the AE

	dial to select a number from O1 to 99.
	Use the number you select to identify
	your camcorder if you connect it to a
