3.3.Preparing Adapter and Cable

-Power Adapter

The SNP-3750/3350 uses an AC24V 2.5A power adapter for the power supply.

Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.

• As shown in Chart 3-1, voltage drop may occur depending on the length of the copper cable: excessively lengthening the adapter cable may decrease the performance of the camera.

Camera Operating Voltage: AC 24V±10%

Voltage drop measurements on the chart above may vary depending on the type and manufacture of the copper cable.

- Communications Cable

For the camera to communicate with the controller, a RS-485/422 communications line is required.

Caution

• A 30m or shorter length is recommended for the connection.

* The communication cable is not enclosed with the camera.
