You can setup audio setting. Refer cable connection shown page 17 in QSG.

Format: Support three audio Video Codec formats of PCM, G711-Alaw and G711-Ulaw.

Audio Input: Set to "ON" when receiving audio from a microphone connected to the camera.

Audio Input Level: Low / Middle / High selectable.
