■Use the component video connector for viewing clear images.

This digital HD video camera is equipped with a component video connector that enables you to view images which look even clearer. Use a component video cable to connect this connector with a TV set with a component video connectors.

●During playback in the HD mode, the images may not appear on the video camera’s LCD monitor if the cable is connected to its component video connector. Neither will the images be output from the S/AV/editing cable.

●Disconnect the component video cable when the S/AV/editing cable is to be used for dubbing or when viewing images on the video camera’s LCD monitor during playback in the HD mode.

For details on the connections and operating procedures, refer to page 26 in the instruction manual.

■Cautions for playback

Because of the recording and playback formats used by this digital HD video camera, tapes recorded in the MPEG2 format by a video camera other than this digital HD video camera may not be played back properly.

Ce caméscope HD numérique vous permet d’enregistrer des images sur des bandes MiniDV au format MPEG2.

■Sélectionner le mode d’enregistrement pour les meilleurs enregistrements d’image.

Ce caméscope HD numérique prend en charge trois systèmes d’enregistrement (modes) : le mode HD pour HDTV, le mode SD pour une interprétation d’images progressive, et le mode DV qui est le même que celui des caméscopes numériques conventionnels.

●Si vous utilisez des modes différents pour enregistrer des images sur la même bande MiniDV, la lecture de l’image et du son ne pourra pas se faire pendant les quelques secondes suivant le changement de mode.

●Il est recommandé d’utiliser le même mode tout au long de l’enregistrement sur une bande MiniDV. Il est également recommandé d’identifier quel mode a été utilisé en collant des étiquettes sur les bandes.

●Lors de la lecture, vous n’entendrez pas le son pendant environ une seconde à partir du début d’une scène enregistrée en mode HD ou SD (format MPEG2). Les images s’affichent.

●Les images en mode HD peuvent sembler défiler un peu plus rapidement par rapport aux images en mode SD ou DV. C’est parce qu’elles sont filmées à raison de 30 images par seconde contre 60 images par seconde pour les images en mode SD ou DV.

●Lors des prises de vue en mode HD sous un faible éclairage, la vitesse de l’obturateur commute sur un réglage plus bas, afin d’obtenir plus de lumière. En conséquence, il se peut que l’image présente un léger effet de traînage lors de la prise de vue panoramique ou de l’utilisation du zoom.

■Une recherche à grande vitesse (dans le sens avant et inverse) durant la lecture est possible pour les images

enregistrées en mode HD (format MPEG2).

●Lors de la recherche en cours de lecture, certaines images seront sautées et seront fracturées en une mosaïque d’images. Cela peut aussi se produire pour les images enregistrées en mode SD.

■Les images haute définition (HD) peuvent être stockées en utilisant un magnétoscope D-VHS ou d’autres

appareils semblables.

Les images HD enregistrées par votre caméscope HD numérique en mode HD ou les images de haute qualité enregistrées en mode SD peuvent être copiées en utilisant un magnétoscope D-VHS qui prend en charge le mode HS ou un modèle similaire de cette unité.

●Utiliser un câble i.LINK pour la connexion.

●La copie d’autres périphériques au format MPEG2 est possible si la périphérique connectée est un modèle similaire de cette unité. La copie au format MPEG2 à partir d’un magnétoscope D-VHS est également possible si la bande source (D-VHS) est originalement doublée à partir de ce caméscope numérique HD au format MPEG2.

●La copie d’un magnétoscope D-VHS au format MPEG2 n’est pas possible, si les signaux sur la bande D-VHS sortent originalement du tuner ATSC etc.

●Lors de la copie d’images à l’aide d’un caméscope numérique HD comme enregistreur, la date sera changée pour la date à laquelle les images ont été copiées.
