PHOTOVU LINK Driver (Optional)

An image recorded on the DV Tape can be transferred to your PC (Personal Computer).

System Requirements for PHOTOVU LINK Driver (Optional)

Intel® Pentium® Processor

Microsoft Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP

RAM: 16 MB or more

2 MB minimum available hard disk space

256 color monitor (full color recommended)

3.5 inch 1.44 MB floppy disk drive (for installation)

RS-232C serial port (D-Sub 9-pin) An adaptor (D-Sub 9-pin male to a D-Sub female) is required for a D-Sub 25-pin

Mouse or other pointing device

*Satisfy the conditions recommended by Microsoft for Windows.

Connection

1 Turn off your PC.

2 Connect the Palmcorder to your PC (Windows) using the PC connecting cable

(optional: PC Connection Unit (PV-DRS2A, p46)).

Before connecting the Palmcorder to the PC, make sure the PC power is off to insure that images are transferred properly.

3 Turn on your PC.

4 Set the Palmcorder POWER to VCR.

Note

For extended periods of use, it is recommended to use the AC Adaptor as a power source.

Refer to PC or Windows manual to identify which COM port is to be used for connection.
