HPreset tuning

You can store up to 40 stations in memory (40 stations consisting of any combination of the FM and AM stations you like) and recall them at the push of the button.

1Perform steps 1-5 of the "Tuning" section.

2To receive FM stereo, press the ST button so that the “FM ST” indicator on the display lights up for FM stereo reception, then press the ENTER button.

3Within 10 seconds, select the desired preset number with the MULTI CONTROL button.

4Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

5Repeat steps 1-4 to preset the other stations, or to change a

preset station.

IWhen a new station is stored in a preset number location, the previous contents of that location will be erased.

Note:

IAfter a prolonged power failure, the contents of the memory will be lost. When power is restored, enter your selections in memory again. (For power failures of just a few hours or less, the contents of memory will not be lost.)

HTo recall a preset station

Press the direct button on the remote control or MULTI CON- TROL button to recall the preset channel number.

IThe contents (preset channel number, frequency and frequency band) which have been stored in memory will appear in the display, irrespective of the frequency bands.

IIf there are no stations memorized, this operation can not be per- formed.

To select preset numbers 11 to 40 using the remote control

Press the >10 button first,then press the number.

For example to select 35:

1Press the >10 button.

2Within 5 seconds, press the "3" button.

3Within 5 seconds, press the "5" button.

Note:

IYou can create names for radio stations that have been stored in memory.(Page 21)
