HMove

1While in the stop mode, select the track you wish to move using the multicontrol button.

Or start playing the track to be moved, and then press the MD

06button.

IThe unit will enter the pause mode.

2Press the NAME/TOC EDIT button, and then select “MOVE” using the MULTI CONTROL button.

3Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

4Select the direction to move the track using the MULTI CONTROL button.

ITo increase the track number ...

ITo decrease the track number ...

ITo cancel the operation, press the MD H button.

5Press the ENTER button again.

IThe track is moved, and the unit is stopped at the beginning of the track.

Note:

IWhen a track has been moved, the other tracks which are affected will be assigned new track numbers automatically.

Example:

When moving the fifth track to the third track, the old third track will become the new fourth track, and the old fourth track will become the new fifth track.

IThis function cannot be used while in the program ( “PRGM” is lit) or the random play modes ( “RANDOM” is lit) . First, cancel the program or random play modes before trying to use this function.

Programmed move

1Select the tracks you want to move and enter them into a program. (Page 23)

2Make sure that the “PRGM” indicator is lit, and then press the NAME/TOC EDIT button.

3Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

ITo cancel the operation, press the MD H button.

4Press the ENTER button again.

IThe tracks will be moved, and the programmed move mode will end.

Notes:

IThe track numbers that are not included in the programmed selections will be put at the end of the new sequence.

IWhen the same track has been entered into the program twice or more, the last programmed position will have priority.
