7 Recording from a CD:

 

7 Recording from a MiniDisc:

 

Recording desired tracks from a CD or an MD to a cassette tape (Track Editing)

Several consecutive tracks, starting from the first track on a CD or an MD (for example: from the first track to the fourth track), can be recorded onto a tape.

1 Load a blank cassette into the cassette compartment.

2 Press the REVERSE MODE button.

... To record on only one side.

... To record on both sides.

3 Select the Dolby NR mode by pressing the DOLBY NR button.

When recording with the Dolby NR system, turn on the indicator.

When not recording with the Dolby NR system, turn off the indicator.

4 Select the desired source CD or MiniDisc by pressing the CD or MD button.

5 Press the TRACK EDIT button.

6 Select the last track to record by pressing the TRACK EDIT button.

7 Recording from a CD:

Press the CD 0 TAPE button.

Recording from a MiniDisc:

Press the MD 0 TAPE button.

To stop recording:

Press the CD or TAPE button.

Recording only your favorite tracks on a tape whilst listen- ing to a CD or an MD (Hypertrack Editing)

If you programme your favorite tracks whilst listening to a CD or an MD, you can record the programmed tracks all together onto a tape after listening to the disc.

1 Load a blank cassette into the cassette compartment.

2 Press the REVERSE MODE button.

... To record on only one side.

... To record on both sides.

3 Select the Dolby NR mode by pressing the DOLBY NR button.

When recording with the Dolby NR system, turn on the indicator.

When not recording with the Dolby NR system, turn off the indicator.

4 Select the desired source CD or MiniDisc by pressing the CD or MD button.

5 Press the CD 0 6 or MD 0 6 button.

6 Press the TRACK EDIT button whilst playing the track you want to record later. 7 Stop the CD or MiniDisc by pressing the CD or MD button.

8 Recording from a CD:

Press the CD 0 TAPE button.

Recording from a MiniDisc:

Press the MD 0 TAPE button.
