3.7 Input Signal Chaining

The input signals to the XLR connectors can be hard-wired in parallel using a switch on the E.U.I. (See 3.6.2, Switch 1, 5.1, Extended User Interface and 5.1.1, Input Signal Parallel Switch). This serves as a replacement for an external short XLR female - XLR male cable for parallel linking the signal inputs.

CAUTION:

Linking channels together can cause damage to system components if for example two inputs are used with separate ‘LF’ and ‘HF’ feeds.

If the amplifier is to be used for ‘LF’ and ‘HF’, ensure this switch is set to STEREO Mode before switching on.
