10 Playing DivX/JPEG files

These are the basic steps necessary to play a DivX/JPEG with your DVD player. More ad- vanced DivX/JPEG operation is explained start- ing in the following section. Refer to page 35.
1Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
2Folder number indicator
Shows the folder number currently playing.
3File number indicator
Shows the file number currently playing.
4Play time indicator
Shows the elapsed playing time of the cur- rent file.
!When playing a JPEG disc, play time in- dicator does not appear.
5File name indicator
Shows the name of the currently playing file.
1Touch the source icon and then touch Disc to select the DVD player.
#If no disc is loaded in the unit, you cannot se- lect Disc (DVD player). Insert a disc in the unit. (Refer to page 15.)
2Touch the screen to display the touch panel keys.
#Touch Hide to hide the touch panel keys.
4To skip back or forward to another file, touch oor p.
Touching pskips to the start of the next file. Touching oonce skips to the start of the current file. Touching it again will skip to the
previous file.
# You can also skip back or forward to another file by pressing cor d(TRK).
5To perform fast forward or reverse, keep touching oor p.
When DivX disc is playing, if you keep touch- ing oor p for five seconds, the icon m or n is highlighted. When this happens, fast reverse/fast forward continues even if you re- lease oor p. To resume playback at a de-
sired point, touch f.
# This is fast forward and reverse operation only for the file being played. This operation is can-
celed when the previous or next file is reached.
# You can also perform fast reverse/fast forward
by pressing and holding cor d(TRK).
# When playing JPEG file, performing this op- eration enables you to search every 10 files.

!Playback is carried out in order of file number. Folders are skipped if they contain no files. (If
