CD operation / CD changer operation

Selecting the display mode

You can select the desired display mode for CD and CD changer operation:

Press DIS as often as necessary until you have selected the desired display mode.

Selecting CDs and titles

You can use the rocker switch to conven- iently select CDs, tracks or passages. You cannot select CDs unless a CD changer has been connected.

Repeating tracks/CDs

You can repeat a track or a CD (in changer operation) as often as desired. Use the RPT key to select the following functions:

-REP TRCK = Repeat track

-REP CD = Repeat CD (changer opera- tion only)

-RPT OFF = Repeat function off

Press RPT as many times as neces- sary until you have selected the de- sired setting.

The CD or the track will repeat until you press RPT to switch off the function with

“CD 10”

– The CD number (for

 

changer operation only).

“TRACK 13” – Track number

“14:34”

– Clock

“00:20”

– The elapsed playback time

“VIVALDI”

– CD name

The CD name will not be displayed unless it has already been entered.

/ Track selection

Upwards: Press briefly.

CUE - fast advance (audible): Hold

pressed down.

Downwards: Press twice or as many times as required.

To re-start a title: Press briefly.

REVIEW - fast reverse (audible):

Hold pressed down.

The rocker switch acts as a sequence switch so that you can skip over several CDs or tracks if you press it repeatedly.

“RPT OFF”.

TPM

(Track Program Memory)

Use this feature to program and play your favorite CD tracks in CD and changer oper- ation. Up to 30 CDs can be managed in the CD mode, up to 99 discs in the CDC mode, with a maximum of 40 tracks each. TPM can only be used in the mode it was stored in (CD or changer operation).
