Assistance in setting your equalizer

Start to make your settings in the mid-range/treble and finish with the bass range.

Bass
30 – 100 Hz	Bass reproduction too weak	Boost the bass with the
		“LOW EQ” filter
		Frequency: 50 to 100 Hz
		GAIN: +4 to +6 dB
Lower mid-range
100 – 400 Hz	Unclear bass	Reduce the lower mid-range
	Playback reverberates	with the “LOW EQ” filter
	Unpleasant pressure on the ears	Frequency: 125 to 400 Hz
		GAIN: approx. –4 dB
Mid-range sound
400 – 4000 Hz	Sound appears to be too much in	Reduce the mid-range with
	the foreground, very aggressive,	“HIGH EQ” filter
	no stereo effect	Frequency: 1000 to 2500 Hz
		GAIN: -4 to –6 dB
Treble

Notes

Avoid distortion.

Boost the level carefully if the speaker diameter is too small.

The tone may become too lean and aggressive.

Pay attention to the underlying tone of the music.

Playback should not be too quiet.

Tone too powerless.

Avoid a piercing type of tone. Strong hissing sound unpleas- ant.
