Station tuning

Station seek /

Press /: the radio automatically looks for the next station.

If / is held down at the top or bottom, the seek run continues forwards or backwards at higher speed.

Manual tuning with << >>

You can tune manually.

Condition:

AF and PTY are deactivated (the corre- sponding symbols are not lit in the display).

Paging through the transmis- sion chains (FM only)

You can use << >> to call up stations from the region in which they can be received.

If a number of programs in the station chain can be received, you can page through them with >> (forwards) or << (backwards), e.g. NDR 1, 2, 3, 4... .

You can also start Travelstore, for exam- ple:

Press TU: menu level 2 is displayed. If “AF” fails to come on:

Hold down AF on menu level 2.

Changing the memory level (FM)

You can change between memory levels I,

IIand T to store stations and retrieve them again. The selected memory level appears on the display.

Storing stations

You can store six stations on the FM band on each memory level (I, II, T) using the sta- tion keys ST1 - ST6.

You can also store six stations each on the AM/AMT bands. Proceed as follows:

Press TU: menu level 2 is displayed.

Select the frequency band using BND.

Select a station using the rocker (auto- matically / or manually << >>).

Hold the desired station key down until the program can be heard again after it has been muted and the beep sounds (approx. 2 seconds).

The station is now stored.
