6.16 STUN Server settings

This option is used when the VoIP operators want to set STUN server parameters for hipi phone and it is usually provided by the VoIP operators. (We suggest you consult with your local operators before making any modifications to avoid malfunction of the VoIP).

6.17 SIP setting from SD

The option is used when you want to set the IP phone parameters quickly using an SD card. It is mainly used for factory settings.

6.18 Version update

The option is used to upgrade the phone software. You will store the image of the phone software on the SD card. Select the function and the phone will search the upgrade software on the SD card automatically, then it will upgrade the system automatically. When there are multiple software images on the root directory of the SD card, it will upgrade the system using the latest version. When the upgrade is complete the phone will shutdown automatically.

You can download the image from the corporate website and transfer it to the MiniSD card through the phone or the card reader. The file name of the software is usually called Update.x.x.x.Name, and the x.x.x is the three dimensions version number. For example 1.0.1.Name is the related product name. The name of the hipi phone is Version. You can change the file name and it will not affect your using the phone.

Please make sure that the battery has sufficient charge when you upgrade your phone software.

This will avoid damage to the system caused by insufficient charge. If you need support in the upgrade process please contact the product service center.
