the SMS icon and the small envelop will open to show the message to be read. Unread message will show in a closed small envelop. You can also use the small icon to differentiate the locations of the messages. A mobile phone sign means that the message is stored in the phone. A SIM card sign means the message is stored in the SIM card. Select the message to read it. Click the reply to reply to the sender. Click the drop down menu and the following menu items will appear:

Select forward: Forward the message to others

Select forward to QQ: Go to mobile QQ login window and perform the appropriate operation.

Select forward to multiple QQs: Go to mobile QQ login window and perform the appropriate operation.

Select call receiver: To call the receiver’s phone number.

Select save number: Save the sender’s phone number.

Select delete: To delete the message from the inbox.

Select extract number: To extract the phone number from the SMS and save or call the sender according to phone instructions.

9.3.2MMS

Click the message icon to go to message sub-menu. Select “inbox” to show the list of received messages. Different types of messages are displayed with different icons. Select the messages with the MMS icon to open message detail window so that you can view the type, sender, topic, size, date and time of the message. Click the drop down menu to perform the following operation:

Select view: To browse the contents of the message including the image and the text. Click the drop down menu to perform the following operation”

Select save objects: To save the image, ring tone and the number of the sender to the mobile phone.

Select accessory: To view the attachment of the MMS. Select page up: to view the previous frame

of the MMS. Select page down: to view the next frame of the MMS. Select play to display the MMS in PowerPoint style. After you choose play, the menu will change to stop. Select stop to stop the play.

Select reply: Send a reply SMS to the sender.

Select forward: Forward the message to others.

Select delete: Delete the message from the inbox.

9.4Message setting

9.4.1Message setting Message center

Before you send a SMS, you must type in a number of the short messaging service center. The number is provided by the mobile phone service provider. If the user has typed in a service center number the number will show in the screen. You can use, modify and delete it as necessary.

1.In standby mode, click the “message” icon to open the message window.

2.Click the drop down menu on the right top of the screen and select “SMS setting” to open the “SMS setting” window then open the “SMS center” setting.

3.Complete the setting of the SMS center number. Click Yes to complete the setting.

Store message

You can use this item to select a location to store the SMS: SIM card and phone. For example, if you
