Switching the Phone On or Off

Switching the Phone On

1Open the folder.

2Press the [e] key until the phone switches on.

3If the phone requests you to input a PIN, enter the PIN and press the [o] Soft key. (For further details, see Applications Menu 6.8)

Your phone starts to search for an available network and the current date and time will appear on the internal and external displays. Once connected to the network, you can send or receive a call.

If a malfunction occurs while using the phone or it is not turned on, remove the battery and install it again after 5 or 10 seconds.

NOTE: To change the language, use the Language menu option (For further details, see Applications Menu 6.4)

To switch the phone off, press the [e] key until the power- off animation displays.

Making a Call

Making a Call

Enter the area code and the phone number to make a call in standby mode, and press the [s] key.

NOTE: If you have set the Auto Redial option (For further details, see Applications Menu 6.3.4) to [On], the phone will attempt to make a call automatically for up to 10 times if it is not connected.

To clear the last digit displayed, press the [c] key.

To clear the all digits displayed, press and hold the [c] key.

Ending a Call

When you want to finish your call, press the [e] key or close the folder.

Once the call is completed, a call summary (Recipient Name or Number, Service Time) will be displayed.

Using Call Logs

[2.3]

The phone stores dialled, received or missed calls. The last call is saved in the first position.

1Press the [s] key to see the all recent call list chronologically.

2Press the [u/d] key to highlight.

3Press the [s] key for dialling.

NOTE: Press and hold the [s] key to redial the last number in the call log.
