Entering Text

NOTE: The cursor moves to the right when you press a different key. When entering the same letter twice or a different letter on the same key, just press the Right key or wait a few seconds for the cursor to move to the right automatically, and then enter the next letter.

Refer to the table for more information about the characters available. The characters vary, depending on the text input language.

Changing Case

To change the case of the next letter(s) that you type, press the [#] key.

There are three cases:

-Lower case (no indicator)

-Initial capital ( )

-Capital lock ( )

Entering Text

Using 123 Mode

[8.5]

The number mode allows you to enter numbers into the text. Press the key corresponding to the digit you want to enter.

Using Symbol Mode

[8.6]

The symbol mode allows you to enter symbols into your text.

To display more symbols, press the [u/d] key.

To input a symbol, press the number for a

symbol, and the text will appear in the

input screen.

Press the [#] key longer or the []] Soft key to escape from Symbol mode.
