They can also be customised to your needs. Select and customise a profile to match your preferences, such as when you are in a meeting or outdoors. The profiles available are Normal, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor and Car.

Ring Tone

Select ‘Menu>6.Settings>2.Sound Settings>[Edit] Soft key>1.Ring Tone’ and press the [o] key, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in standby mode and select ‘1.Ring Tone’.

* You can choose the preferred ring type, ring volume.

-Ring Type: Ringing, Vibration, Vib then Ring, Vib and Ring, Ascending, None (Quiet).

-Ringing Volume: Controls the volume in 8 levels (0~7).

Bell Sound

Select ‘Menu>6.Settings>2.Sound Settings>[Edit] Soft key>2.Bell Sound’ and press the [o] key, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in standby mode and select ‘2.Bell Sound’.

* You can choose the preferred melody to ring.

-Sound Box: Melody Sound, Bell Sound, User Sound.

-Bell Sound: Sound is composed of several groups such as Melody Sound, Bell Sound and each Group has multiple tones. User Sound presents the melody of ‘Menu>4.Media Gallery>5.Sound Gallery’ as a consequence.

Message Alert

Select ‘Menu>6.Settings>2.Sound Settings>[Edit] Soft key>3.Message Alert’ and press the [o] key, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in standby mode and select ‘3.Message Alert’.

You can select the preferred alert melody, its volume and reminder period when you have new messages.

-Reminder: Use the [l/r] key to select one out of Off, Once, Every 2 Mins, Every 5 Mins.

-Ring Volume: Controls the volume in 8 levels (0~7).

-Sound: Use the [l/r] key to set Message Alert Tone to Bell1, Bell2, Bell3.

Key Tone

You can select the keypad sound to be used for dialling or in the menu screen.

Select ‘Menu>6.Settings>2.Sound Settings>[Edit] Soft key>4.Key Tone’ and press the [o] key, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in standby mode and select ‘4.Key Tone’.

-Tone Type: You can turn the key tone on or off.

-Ring Volume: Controls the volume in 8 levels (0~7).

-Sound: Selects a key tone.

Flip Open Tone

You can select a sound effect when you open or close the folder.

Select ‘Menu>6.Settings>2.Sound Settings>[Edit] Soft key>5.Flip Open Tone’ and press the [o] key, or press the [u] key and the [Edit] Soft key in the standby mode and select ‘5.Flip Open Tone’.

-Tone Type: Turns the key tone on or off.

-Ring Volume: Controls the volume by 8 levels.

-Sound: Sets Bell 1, Bell 2, Bell 3 to Flip Open/Close Tone.
