Use of the menu key when on-line

When you are on-line and press a menu will appear. This menu is dynamic in the way that the content changes according to the WAP page that you visit. Some menu points will therefore only be available on certain WAP pages. However, some menu points will always be present no matter what page you visit and these include:

- Home

opens the homepage set as default in the

 

active profile

- Bookmarks

the list of stored bookmarks

- HTTP://

a URL address can be typed in directly

- Add

stores the present home page as a

 

bookmark

- Exit

exits the WAP menu

Setting the Profiles

If no profiles have been set-up in your phone, please contact your network operator. They will provide you with the information you need for setting up a profile yourself. Please follow the steps below:

Press

(SELECT PROFILE)

When all profiles are empty it does not matter which one you select

Homepage

Enter the homepage that you want to set as default for the profile. This could for example be the homepage of

your network operator

(TYPE URL ADDRESS)

IP number

Type the IP number that your network operator has provided you with. Remember to set full stop between the

numbers

(TYPE IP NUMBER)

User Name

Type the user name which your network operator has

provided you with

(TYPE USER NAME)

Password

Type the password which your network operator has

provided you with

(TYPE PASSWORD)

Connection Type

When a connection is established with a WAP-server there are different techniques to exchange data between the phone and the server. You distinguish between two different connection types. The connection type is dependent on the network you are calling. Choose
