The information mode also allows you to select miles or kilometers as the unit of mea- surement for the console, to turn on and turn off the demo mode, and to reset all programs to the original settings.

To select the information mode, hold down the Stop button while inserting the key into the console. When the information mode is selected, the following informa- tion will be shown in the display:

IMPORTANT: If a “d” appears in the Heart Rate/ Calories zone of the display, the console is in the “demo” mode. This mode is intended to be used only when a treadmill is displayed in a store. If a “d” appears when the infor- mation mode is selected, press the Speed decrease button so the “d” disappears.

To reset all programs to the

original settings, first press the Start button. The word “SAVE” will flash in the Pace/Speed

button. If you do not wish to reset all programs, press the Stop button.

To exit the information mode, remove the key from the console.
