HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORD
Locate the power cord on the elliptical crosstrainer. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
Note: When the power cord is plugged in, the resistance sys- tem may automatically calibrate itself. Calibration takes less than one minute. During calibration, the
letters “CAL” will
appear in the left LED display and the indicators in the TRAINING ZONE display will light in a rapid sequence.
After the resistance system calibrates
itself, the incline sys- tem may calibrate itself. During calibra- tion, two dashes will appear in the right LED display and the
indicators in the
TRAINING ZONE display will light in a rapid sequence.
HOW TO USE THE UPPER BODY ARMS
EXERCISING ON THE ELLIPTICAL CROSSTRAINER
To mount the elliptical crosstrainer, hold the pulse han- dlebar and step onto the pedal that is in the lowest position. Next, step onto the other pedal. Push the pedals until they begin to move with a continuous motion.

Note: The pedal disks can turn in either direction. It is recommended that you move the pedal disks in the direction shown by the arrow above; how- ever, to give variety to your exercise, you may turn the pedal disks in the opposite direction.
To dismount the elliptical crosstrainer, wait until the pedals come to a complete stop. Note: The elliptical crosstrainer does not have a free wheel; the ped- als will continue to move until the flywheel stops. When the pedals are stationary, step off the highest pedal first. Then, step off the lowest pedal.
