Searching a Disc (Only for the CD player)

Search a disc by its performer:

1. Press TEXT DISPLAY while “CD” is selected as the source.

The Disc Information screen appears on the TV.

2.Press %/ Þto move to “SEARCH,” then

press ON SCREEN SET.

The DISC SEARCH screen appears.

3. Press %/ Þto move to “PERFORMER”, then press ON

SCREEN SET.

The PERFORMER SEARCH screen appears.

4.Press %/ Þ/ @/ #to move in front of the first character of the performer you want to search, then press ON SCREEN SET.

To correct the incorrect entry, press %/ Þ/ @/ #to move

in front of the correct character, then press ON SCREEN SET.

Note:

Symbols such as @, # or $ cannot be available for search.

Search a disc by its disc title:

The DISC SEARCH screen appears.

3.Press %/ Þto move to “DISC TITLE”, then

press ON SCREEN

SET.

The DISC TITLE SEARCH screen appears.

4.Press %/ Þ/ @/ #to move in front of the first character of the disc title you want to search, then press ON SCREEN SET.

To correct the incorrect entry, press %/ Þ/ @/ #to move

in front of the correct character, then press ON SCREEN SET.

Note:

Symbols such as @, # or $ cannot be available for search.

5. Press ON SCREEN SET again.

Disc search starts, then the

SEARCH RESULT screen,

 

showing the performers, appears.

6.On the SEARCH RESULT screen, you can do the following:

•Changing the indication of the disc information: Press % /

Þ to move to a searched disc, then press @/ #. Each time you press @ / #, the disc information alternates between its performer and its disc title.

•Going to the Disc Information screen (see page 29): Press %

/ Þto move to a searched disc, then press ON SCREEN SET.

•Showing unseen disc information (if more than 5 discs are listed as a result of the search): Press %/ Þ until they appear.

•Going back to the PERFORMER SEARCH screen: Press

ON SCREEN EXIT.

5. Press ON SCREEN SET again.

Disc search starts, then the

SEARCH RESULT screen, showing the disc titles, appears.

6.On the SEARCH RESULT screen, you can do the following:
