INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Recessed area and closet installation

NOTE: Check codes requirements. Some codes limit or do not permit installation of clothes dryers in garages, closets, mobile homes, or sleeping quarters. Contact your local building inspector.

This dryer may be installed in a recessed area or closet. If closet door is installed, the minimum unobstructed air openings in top and bottom are required. Louvered doors with equivalent air openings are acceptable.

Your dryer needs a certain amount of space around it for proper ventilation and for easier installation and servicing. The following minimum installation spacings are required when the unit is to be operated with or without the Stack Stand Kit. To purchase a Stack Stand Kit, see the “Assistance or Service” section. For ease of installation and service, additional spacing should be considered.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, this appliance MUST BE EXHAUSTED OUTDOORS.

NOTE: No fuel-burning appliances may be installed in the same closet as a dryer.
