Mobile home installation

NOTE: Check codes requirements. Some codes limit or do not permit installation of clothes dryers in garages, closets, mobile homes, or sleeping quarters. Contact your local building inspector.

The exhaust vent must be securely fastened to a non-combustible portion of the mobile home structure and must not terminate beneath the mobile home.

The dryer exhaust vent must not be connected or secured with screw or other devices which extend into the interior of the vent.

A kit is available to fasten the dryer

securely when the mobile home is in

transit. To purchase a kit, see theFloor "Assistance or Service" section. Your

dryer does not need to be secured when the mobile home is not in transit.
