Installation

Levelling the machine

The machine must be level to ensure smooth operation. Check with a spirit level.

The feet are adjusted using the leg le- vellers as follows:

Note: All 4 legs have counternuts.

Shorten front left leg until the ma- chine stands on 3 legs only; push machine diagonally to be sure that machine is standing on 3 legs only.

Use a level to check levelling of ma- chine in both directions as shown above.

Adjust the 3 legs in use until a level position is attained. Turn the counter- nuts upright and tighten them against bottom of machine.

Lower the front left leg to make firm contact with the floor, turn the counternut upward and tighten.

Check levelling of machine by push- ing and pulling diagonally on top of machine casing. The same stiffness should be felt in both directions.
