Playing from a particular position

You can start playing a title, chapter, or track you specify. You can also play a disc from the specified time.

Locating a particular chapter

—Chapter search

When playing back a DVD disc, you can locate the chapter number to be played.

—Time search

You can start playing at your desired position by specifying the elapsed playing time from the beginning of the current title (for DVD), or from the beginning of the disc (for VCD/ SVCD/Audio CD).

Ex.:

To select chapter number 8, press 8.

To select chapter number 10, press 1 then 0.

To select chapter number 37, press 3 then 7.

To correct a mis-entry

Repeat step 3 until the correct number appears in the pop-up window.

4Press ENTER.

The system starts playback from the selected chapter.

To erase the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

NOTES:

You can also use the 10 button to enter “10.”

The +10 button is not used in this function.

You can select up to chapter number 99.

The on-screen bar appears on the TV.
