Using the DVD player

2. Use 5/°cursors to move the pointer [SUBTITLE].

3. Use 2/3cursors to select the desired subtitle.

Each time you press 2/3cursors, the subtitle changes.

3. Use 2/3cursors to select the desired audio language or sound.

Each time you press 2/3cursors, the audio language or sound changes.

To turn off the on-screen display

Press DVD ON SCREEN.

Note:

•The selected language may abbreviated on the TV screen. See “Appendix A: Table of languages and their abbreviations” in this manual.

Changing the audio language or sound

[AUDIO]

Some DVD discs contain multiple audio tracks. With such discs, you can choose which audio track to listen to during playback.

At the beginning of “multi-audio language” parts, appears on the TV screen.

To turn off the on-screen display

Press DVD ON SCREEN.

Note:

•When appears on the TV screen:

You cannot select the audio.

Changing the audio channel [AUDIO]

For in some karaoke Video CDs, one of the audio channels includes a vocal while the other does not. With such discs, you can choose to enjoy karaoke without the vocal or with the vocal by selecting the audio channel to be played back.

1. Press DVD ON SCREEN.

The on-screen display appears on the TV screen.

2. Use 5/°cursors to move the pointer to [AUDIO].

2. Use 5/°cursors to move the pointer to [AUDIO].

3. Select the audio channel(s) to be played back using 2/3cursors.

L/R: You hear normal stereo playback.

L:You hear the L (Left)

channel signal played back from both the left and right speakers.

R:You hear the R (Right) channel signal played back from both the left and right speakers.

To turn off the on-screen display

Press DVD ON SCREEN.
