Changing the display information

While playing back an MP3 file, you can change the MP3 disc information shown on the display.

Note:

When playing a CD or a CD Text, you can also change the disc information, see page 26 for details.

Each time you press the button, the display changes to show the following:

If the information cannot be shown at a time, it will scroll on the display.

Some characters or symbols will not be shown (will be blanked or substituted) on the display.

If “Tag” is set to “On” (see pages 33 and 34), ID3 tag information will appear on the display if the disc has

an ID3 tag. The album name/performer and (disc) appears on the display instead of the folder name;

while track title and (track) appears instead of the file name.
