Preparing to reverse door swing

1Be sure you have adequate swing area before reversing door.

2 You will need a screw driver with a #2 square bit.

3Protect flat work surface, such as top of dryer or floor near dryer, with a soft cloth or towel.

4 Be sure dryer is unplugged from power source!

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD

Failure to disconnect power source before servicing could result in personal injury or even death.

Removing door and hardware

Tools needed:

Screwdrivers with

#2 square &

straight bit

A) Removing Trim Ring

1Open door to 90 degree angle.

2Remove and save trim plug and long, course-thread, panhead screw.

B) Removing Door from Front Panel

1Reopen door to 90 degree angle.

2Remove 2 short, course-thread, panhead screws.

3 Close door.

4Rotate door trim approximately ¾” counter- clockwise and pull ring away from door.

3While supporting door with the other hand, remove 3 short, fine-thread, counter-sunk screws.

4Gently place door face down on flat, covered work surface.
