1.Too long, undersized, or improperly installed duct work.

2.Back draft damper is sticking in partially closed position.

Q.Dryer or scraping noise at basket (tumbler) area

1.Check for object caught in basket (tumbler) and wrapper area.

2.Basket (tumbler) is out of proper alignment

a.Check both vertical and lateral alignment.

b.Check gap between front panel and basket (tumbler) front, set screws may have come loose, and basket (tumbler) walked forward or backwards.

3.Loose basket (tumbler) tie rod.

4.Failed basket (tumbler) support.

R.Excessive noise or vibration

1.Dryer not leveled properly.

2.Impellor (fan and blower) out of balance

a.Excessive lint build up on impellor (fan and blower).

b.Failed impellor (fan and blower).

3.Loose basket (tumbler) tie rod.

4.Basket out of adjustment, or adjustment bolts (hardware) are loose.

5.Failed basket (tumbler) support.

6.Loose motor mount.

7.Failed idler or tumbler bearings.

8.V-belts either too tight or too loose.
