Chapter 5: Advanced Serverboard Setup

Chassis Intrusion

The Chassis Intrusion header is des- ignated JL1. Attach an appropriate cable from the chassis to inform you of a chassis intrusion when the chas- sis is opened

Wake-On-LAN

The Wake-On-LAN header is des- ignated JWOL1 on the serverboard. See the table on the right for pin definitions. You must also have a LAN card with a Wake-On-LAN connector and cable to use this feature.

Wake-On-Ring

The Wake-On-Ring header is desig- nated JWOR1. This function allows your computer to receive and be "awakened" by an incoming call when in the suspend state. See the table on the right for pin definitions. You must also have a WOR card and cable to use this feature.

LAN1/2 (Ethernet Ports)

Two Ethernet ports (designated LAN1 and LAN2) are located beside the VGA port on the I/O backplane. These ports accept RJ45 type cables.
