Chapter 3: Common Tasks

If you completed the steps in Chapter 2: Setup and Installation, you are ready to start learning about your MC Mix. We recommend performing these simple tutorials of common tasks in the order presented.

Fader Strip

1.Press the MC Mix’s strip 1 fader SEL key (Figure 3-1). The corresponding track is selected in your application.

2.Move the MC Mix’s strip 1 fader up and down.

You are now controlling the level of your application’s first track with your MC Mix. The display at the top of strip 1 shows track information.

3.When the MC Mix is first powered up, the PAN key is lit by default. If it is not press the PAN key (Figure 3-1).

Each strip’s Soft Knob now controls pan for its application’s corresponding

track.
